About Us

Where Healing Begins and Hope Flourishes

At Sanctuary Psychotherapy, I believe in the power of therapy to transform lives. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California, my practice is centered on providing compassionate, individualized support to those facing anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts. With a focus on helping individuals find clarity, peace, and emotional well-being, I aim to create a safe space where healing and personal growth can flourish.

With years of experience working with diverse individuals, I understand that each person’s journey is unique. That’s why I take a client-centered approach, tailoring therapy to meet your specific needs and challenges. Whether you're looking to manage anxiety, navigate life transitions, improve relationships, or simply find balance, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

My Approach

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, where you are the expert of your own life and I serve as your guide to uncover insights and develop effective coping strategies. Using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I work with you to explore the root causes of your struggles and empower you to make meaningful changes.

Christianity & Counseling

Christianity and counseling can be integrated by incorporating spiritual principles and biblical teachings into therapeutic practices. As a fully committed follower of Christ, I may use prayer, scripture, and faith-based discussions to help find healing and guidance. This integration allows individuals to explore their emotional and mental health while also addressing their spiritual needs, fostering a holistic approach to well-being. Ultimately, it creates a supportive environment where faith and personal growth can coexist. If you would like your faith to be incorporated into treatment, please let me know.
